OCCUPY Lagos: Nigerian Activists Protest Over LASU School Fees &Planned Removal Of Fuel Subsidy

Civil society activists and labour unions are currently protesting the harsh economic conditions in Nigeria. The actiivists told Saharareporters in Lagos today that they have began a series of protests that would lead to a massive showdown with the Nigerian government in the new year.

Today’s protest is being led by the family of late fiery Nigerian attorney Gani Fawehinmi. His son Mohammed and first wife, Ganiyat are leading activists in a protest that started in Ikeja Lagos.
