Occupy Nigeria: Bauchi Update
The outing today has been highly impressive. Thousands, mostly youths, including students, workers, business people, the unemployed, CSO, women’s groups were all on the streets.
The protest started at the Emir’s Palace, where two young men riding a motorcycle with protests paraphernalia on both the riders and the bike were rough-handled by overzealous Palace Dogari.
In response, the glass windows of the palace were assaulted and damaged.  Tyres were also set ablaze in front of the place.
